New AI-Powered Tool Streamlines Sales Processes for Teams
Dialpad Inc., a business communications provider, has released a new version of its artificial intelligence platform, “Ai Sales,” aimed at simplifying the sales process for teams.
The platform, powered by DialpadGPT—a large language model—utilizes over 6 billion minutes of business conversations from meetings, phone calls, and digital channels. This data helps the platform understand and coach sales teams, offering AI-driven enhancements at every stage of the sales process. Dialpad claims that its data set ensures accuracy and provides a business-specific edge.
Ai Sales addresses the common issue where sales teams juggle an average of 10 different applications to close a deal. This often distracts salespeople from engaging with clients, leading to inefficiencies in managing leads, recaps, and updating managers. The new platform integrates these tasks into a single tool, delivering essential intelligence at the right moments.
The updated service includes customized sales playbooks accessible directly within the app, tailored to specific businesses and their sales cycles. This feature helps sellers qualify opportunities, manage objections, and position their solutions against competitors effectively, all while using best practices.
Ai Sales also captures conversations accurately and provides “Ai Recaps” with next steps, which are automatically fed into a company’s CRM system.
Additional features include real-time coaching, offering immediate feedback during calls, supporting managers in onboarding new sellers, monitoring call quality, and providing real-time support. The platform also automates CRM data entry and management and integrates advanced AI analytics for performance insights, enhancing forecasting accuracy.
“By leveraging our proprietary dataset of over six billion minutes of business conversations and a unique real-time AI architecture, Ai Sales empowers sales teams to harness AI’s true potential to function seamlessly, close deals at scale and increase bottom lines,” said Jim Palmer, chief Ai officer at Dialpad. “Powered by DialpadGPT, Ai Sales provides customizable, tailored sales intelligence all in one platform, while keeping customer data private and secure, to allow sales teams to focus on their main priority – driving business growth.”
Dialpad, a venture capital-backed startup, has raised $476 million across nine rounds, including a $170 million round in December 2021.
